New algorithm for image enhancement and denoising
based on shock filters and anisotropic diffusion

Abstract:This paper presented a new scheme by the coupling between shock filters and anisotropic diffusion. It proposed a new improved shock filters term, which produced adaptive magnitude from image structural information, for the image enhancement and denoising. The method could not only well restrain noise but also enhance edge and keep much more details of an image, and the computed time of this algorithm was greatly shortened. It gave the form of discretization directly.Experimental results show that the effectiveness for image enhancement and denoising with the method is better.......
