A Study on the Application of Class Career Psychological
Guidance in Career Planning of College Students

Abstract: The paper aims to discuss whether the class career psychological Guidance(CCPG) is feasible and effective in improving the college students’ ability of career planning.Two classes were selected randomly as the subjects.One is the experimental class;the other is the control class,The experimental class received 3 months group training of CCPG.The controlclass received no training. The assessment dimensions of career planning ability consist of employment confidence,vocational cognition, career orientation,self cognition,planning cognition. The measuring tools include the questionnairs of investigating the current situation of career planning and the effect assessment scale of CCPG. Followup interviews were taken 3.5 months after the guidance had finished.The overall level of the experimental class’ career planning abilities have been improved distinctively after 3 months 0f CCPG,while there was no improvement in the overall level of the career planning abilities of the control class.3.5 months later, the majority of theimproved factors of the experimental class still remained effective.
