Abstract:This paper researched the current building for river information platform at home and abroad, under the background of “digital watershed”, designed to develop a Web GIS based technologies, Java Portal technology of the digital watershed Web portal system for the sustainable development of Tibet “four River Basin”, especially in ecological and environmental protection, monitoring, evaluation and planning of the research results demonstration. It also described the key technology, design idea and system architecture, implemented the data sharing, data exchange level to network-based data services, integrated portal leap, the building of Web portal enhanced the functionality and data integration and provided a good environment for decision-making support to the building of ecological environment. ......
